2019 was another incredible year for our University filled with exceptional achievements, competitive opportunities and research experiences for our students as well as notable community partnerships for the University overall.

Kim Dela Cruz

 1. Criminal justice and MPA alumna becomes a U.S. Customs & Border Protection officer

 

University of Guam alumna Kimberly Dela Cruz graduated in August from the U.S. Customs & Border Protection Field Operations Academy.

2. 253 earn degrees at University of Guam graduation

 

The University of Guam conferred degrees to 253 students today. Crossing the stage were 176 undergraduate and 77 graduate students.

3.  Anthropology major Artemia Perez promotes cultural preservation through community service

 

Through her experience at the University of Guam, senior Artemia Perez has come to understand that cultural preservation starts by strengthening and empowering the community.

Thirteen University of Guam students were awarded a total of $49,500 in private scholarships earlier this month.
