Grad students in STEM: Check out this new paid fellowship opportunity!
Graduate students can avail of a new fellowship opportunity catered to STEM fields starting in Fañomnåkan 2020.
Applications are now available for the National Science Foundation’s Inclusion Across the Nation of Communities of Learners of Underrepresented Discoverers in Engineering and Science (NSF INCLUDES): Supporting Emerging Aquatic Scientists (SEAS) Island Alliance Fellowship. Selected fellows will conduct scientific research projects in the marine and environmental sciences, which will incorporate themes of marine biology, botany, ecology, social science, and sustainability.
The fellowship includes paid scientific research experiences, faculty and near-peer mentorship, bridge programs for graduate schools, travel opportunities, and educational outreach.

The NSF INCLUDES: SEAS Island Alliance is a collaborative project taking place in Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico, aimed at broadening participation of islanders in STEM fields. It is part of a comprehensive national initiative to enhance U.S. leadership in discoveries and innovations by focusing on diversity, inclusion, and increased participation in STEM at scale.
