Applications are now available for the National Science Foundation’s Inclusion Across the Nation of Communities of Learners of Underrepresented Discoverers in Engineering and Science (NSF INCLUDES): Supporting Emerging Aquatic Scientists (SEAS) Island Alliance Fellowship. Selected fellows will conduct scientific research projects in the marine and environmental sciences, which will incorporate themes of marine biology, botany, ecology, social science, and sustainability.

The fellowship includes paid scientific research experiences, faculty and near-peer mentorship, bridge programs for graduate schools, travel opportunities, and educational outreach.

It is part of a comprehensive national initiative to enhance U.S. leadership in discoveries and innovations by focusing on diversity, inclusion, and increased participation in STEM at scale.
