Employees honored at Triton Awards ceremony
Nine awardees among University of Guam employees were named at the annual Triton Awards Program, which was held before a virtual audience on Aug. 20, 2020.
In its third year since its revival, the program recognizes full-time University of Guam employees who demonstrate exemplary work, make significant contributions, and/or demonstrate outstanding service to his/her division or the University as a whole. This year, two more awards were added: Student Employee of the Year and the COVID-19 Hero Award.
The winners received an inscribed plaque, a certificate of recognition, and a monetary award.

The University also recognized the following 16 retiring faculty, staff, and administrators with Certificates of Appreciation:
The University recognized 29 employees for their years of service at the University of Guam. Employees were presented with a Certificate for Service of 10-, 20-, or 30-years milestones as of Dec. 31, 2019.
The University recognized 10 staff employees and 10 faculty employees for their promotions at the University of Guam.
The University recognized three faculty employees who were granted tenure at the University of Guam:
And lastly, the University recognized the following three academic employees who were granted emeritus status with Certificates of Appreciation:
