During PCOR1, the UOG Campus will be closed to the public but will remain open and will operate in a limited capacity. Non-essential in-person customer service functions will be suspended. Per EO 2020-27, all UOG employees are on regular work status, working remotely, and are expected to report for duty on campus within two (2) hours of receiving notice from their supervisor.

Only employees performing essential duties in response to the pandemic emergency will be working on campus. This includes essential employees or contractors needed to conduct basic operations, including operations necessary to facilitate alternative modes of instruction, such as distributing materials and equipment, or performing other necessary in-person administrative or maintenance functions.

Administrators and supervisors shall implement flexible work schedules based on remote work, to the greatest extent possible. Deans and other administrators will work with faculty and other employees needing access to campus facilities to carry out essential functions, including teaching. For the purpose of supporting online instruction, faculty are authorized to access their office for technology or connectivity.
