Proposals sought for UOG Sea Grant’s 2020 competitive research funding
The University of Guam Sea Grant program is calling for proposals to fund research in Guam, CNMI, and the Freely Associated States for its 2020 funding period.
Researchers in post-secondary institutions, organizations, or agencies within Micronesia are encouraged to propose research that are related to one or both of Sea Grant focus areas: healthy coastal ecosystems and environmental literacy and workforce development. Research proposals must also follow the goals outlined in the UOG Sea Grant Strategic Plan. Between $10,000 and $40,000 in funding per project will be made available to selected proposals.
The deadline to submit research proposals is Nov. 15, 2019. For more information, see the guidelines below for proposal criteria and submissions, or visit the UOG Sea Grant website at www.uog.edu/seagrant/research. Please contact UOG Sea Grant Program Leader Fran Castro at (671) 735-5631 or francastro@uog.edu for other inquiries.
