UOG Women's Soccer stays unbeaten but ties 0-0 with Venue Slay
The University of Guam Women's Soccer Team remained unbeaten at a Feb. 16 matchup against the Venue Slay at the Guam Football Association's National Training Center, but it had to settle for a 0-0 tie.
The GFA Amateur Women's League match was a defensive struggle, but both teams had opportunities to score. The Venue Slay took more shots on the goal than the Lady Tritons, but the UOG squad missed a couple of one-on-one chances with the Slay goalkeeper.
UOG is now 9-0-1 while Venue Slay is 7-2-1. The third and final five-match cycle of the Amateur League schedule begins at 3:30 p.m. this Sunday, Feb. 24, as the Tritons play the Lady Bombers for the third time.
