The University of Guam Men's Volleyball Club Team defeated Guam Community College 3-1 in the UOG-GCC World Series of Volleyball on April 10 at the UOG Calvo Field House.

The Tridents were dominant in the match except for the second set and stopped GCC from breaking 20 points in the three sets UOG won. The set scores were 25-19, 20-25, 25-18, 25-19.

With the victory, UOG won its first match in the series and now trails GCC 2-1. The best-of-seven competition continues at 7 p.m. next Monday, April 15, in the UOG Calvo Field House. Admission is free to all of the World Series matches.
