Karri Perez honored for her contributions
The late Karri T. Perez was honored with a legislative resolution and a recognition from the Guam Hotel & Restaurant Association on March 13 at the University of Guam. Both were presented to her husband Gerry Perez and stepdaughter Sherry Roberg-Perez.

“Dr. Perez was a long-serving faculty member at SBPA whose mentorship and knowledge had a profound effect on our students and her colleagues,” said UOG President Thomas W. Krise in a message to the University community.
Perez most recently served as an associate professor of global resources management, though she began her career at the University as a program coordinator in 1998. She became a tenure track assistant professor in 2009 and was promoted and received tenure in 2014.
Perez earned her doctorate in human and organizational systems at Fielding Graduate Institute and held key positions in international corporations in Asia and the Pacific Rim. She was well-known in the local community as a member and leader of many service organizations. She worked with some of the top businesses and institutions in Guam and the Pacific as a trainer and business consultant in organizational leadership, human resources, and project management.
