GCC Men's Volleyball defeats Trident Club Team 3-1
The University of Guam Men's Volleyball Club Team was defeated on April 15 by Guam Community College 3 sets to 1 set at the UOG Calvo Field House in the UOG-GCC World Series of Volleyball.
With the win, GCC is now only one match away from winning the World Series, as they lead the competition 3 matches to 1 match.
Both teams came out with dominating sets to start the contest, as GCC won the first set 25-9, but UOG came back to win the second set 25-11. GCC won the third set 25-19, and the Tridents fought hard in the fourth set to try to even the match, but GCC came out on top 25-23 to win.
Both teams will return to the court at 7 p.m. next Monday, April 22, at the UOG Calvo Field House. If GCC wins, they will be the World Series champions. If UOG wins, the series continues.
