GCC defeats UOG Men's Volleyball in World Series
The University of Guam Men's Volleyball Club, the Tridents, was defeated by the Guam Community College Men's Volleyball Club 3-2 on April 22. With the win, GCC becomes the champion of the first-ever UOG-GCC World Series of Volleyball with a final record of 4-1.

The Tridents started the match looking like they would have a quick win with a 2-0
lead in the first two sets (25-22 and 25-18), but GCC slowed the match down by winning
the third set 25-16 and then the fourth set 25-18.
GCC won the fifth and deciding set as the first team to 15 points, winning 15-11 and
taking the overall World Series.
