UOG Men's Soccer Defeats Quality Distribution 3-1

Men's Soccer vs Rovers

The University of Guam Men's Soccer Team defeated Quality Distribution on Friday night at the Guam Football Association's National Training Center in the GFA Budweiser Premier League 3-1.

The Tritons started the match off slowly as the team was playing without team captain Dylan Naputi who was training with Guam National Team in San Diego, CA and Quality Distribution went out to a 1-0 lead at the 10 minute mark of the first half but UOG dominated play most of the match and was able to score two goals in the last 10 minutes of first half, one goal by Jacques Diambra and then an own goal by Quality as the Tritons led 2-1 at half-time.

UOG continued to dominant the match in the 2nd half and Diambra was able to score again for UOG and the Tritons won the match 3-1.

UOG is now 9-2-1 on the season and they should maintain their 4th place in the league standings. Quality Distribution fell to 5-7-1.

The Tritons next match is on Wednesday, April 11 at 7:00pm against the Bank of Guam Strykers at the GFA National Training Center. The Strykers are 7-3-0 on the season.
