UOG Men's Basketball Defeats Harvest Baptist 134-56 In GMCBL
The University of Guam Men's Basketball Team defeated Harvest Baptist Bible College on Saturday afternoon 134-56 in the UOG Calvo
Field House in a Guam Men's College Basketball League game to run their win streak
in 2017-18 to 25 games.
For the second straight day, the Triitons won big against an opponent, on Friday night
they defeated Pacific Islands University 144-35 and on Saturday, the Tritons defeated
Harvest Baptish Bible College 134-56 for two easy GMCBL games.
The Tritons only had 8 players for the game, with two Tritons missing the game, but
the UOG squad still ran the ball and played tough defense for 40 minutes. UOG led
67-30 at half-time and added to their lead in the 2nd half to win by 78, 134-56.
UOG was led by Ryan Nanguata who scored 32 points and Anthony Castro added 25 points
7 of the 8 active Tritons scoring in double figures. Roland Padock led HBBC with 27
points.
UOG is now 5-0 on the season while HBBC is 1-4. UOG plays Guam Community College on
Monday at 8:00pm. HBBC plays Pacific Islands at 6:15pm on Monday. Both games are in
the UOG Calvo Field House and admission is free.
