UOG Men's Basketball Beats A Solid GCC Squad In GMCBL
The University of Guam Men's Basketball Team ran their win streak to 22 games on Tuesday night in the UOG Calvo Field House with
a 103-80 victory over a stubborn Guam Community College team in the Guam Men's College
Basketball League.
The Tritons jumped out to quick 4-0 lead in the first half, but GCC then came back
to take a 17-9 lead and they would hold a lead for most of the first half before UOG
took the lead in the last 2 minutes of the half to lead at half-time 50-43. The GCC
offense started to slow down and the UOG defense began to take a bit more control
of the game at the end of the half and extended into the 2nd half. UOG scored 53 in
the 2nd half as GCC could never get untracked again the last 20 minutes and only scored
37 points for the final score of 103-80, the Tritons winning.

with 11 rebounds and 3 blocked shots. Anthony Brown scored 23 points with 12 rebounds
and 2 blocks. Ryan Nangauta added 21 points after a 46 point performance on Saturday
