UOG Women’s Volleyball Defeats Guam Community College 3-0
The University of Guam Women’s Volleyball Team defeated Guam Community College 3-0 on Monday night at the UOG Calvo Field House in
the Guam Women’s College Volleyball League. UOG won the sets 25-20, 25-6, 25-14.
With the win, UOG locks up the #1 Seed for the GWCVL Championship Tournament set for
Saturday at UOG. GCC falls to 2-3 on the season and is in 3rd place.
The Tritons now are 5-0 in the league and will face Pacific Islands University on
Wednesday night at 8:00pm in the regular season finale. The two teams will face each
other on Saturday morning in the semi-final round of the tournament as well. The Tide
is 0-5 in the league.
In the 2nd match of the night, the Royals Volleyball Club defeated Pacific Islands
University 3-0 as well, and winning in dominating fashion, 25-5, 25-7 and 25-13. RVC
is 3-2 on the season and in 2nd place.
