The University of Guam Men's Basketball Team defeated the UOG Trident Men's Basketball Club on Sunday afternoon in the UOG Calvo Field House in the Triton Men's Basketball League 144-69.

The Tridents MBC actually led after the first 5 minutes of the game, 12-11, but the Tritons separated themselves from the Tridents MBC in the next 5 minutes to lead 33-14 at the end of the first quarter. The Tridents MBC kept it somewhat close in the 2nd quarter, only being outscored 26-19 for the quarter, but the Tritons led 59-33 at half-time.

The 2nd half was a different story as the UOG Tritons pushed the score to 102 to 50 after 3 periods and won the game 144-69 as the UOG bench scored 107 points in the game.

Ryan Nagaunta scored 26 points for the Tritons while Demadjeo Simon added 25 points. The Tridents' Devin Suto led all scorers with 35 points.

In other games on the day, the MVPs won by forfeit over the MacTech Nerds as MacTech did not show up for the game and in the TMBL nightcap, the KFC Bombers defeated the Harper Valley Kennel Toothfaries 110-109 in double overtime.

The Tritons are now 7-0 in the league with a 15 game winning streak for Fanuchånan (Fall) 2017 while the Tridents dropped to 0-7. Both UOG teams play next Saturday, November 26 as the Tridents play the MacTech Nerds at 2:00 p.m. and the Tritons face the MVP Stars at 4:00 p.m... Both games are in the UOG Calvo Field House and admission is free.
