UOG Men's Soccer Defeats Bank of Guam Strykers B 7-1
The University of Guam Men's Soccer Team defeated the Bank of Guam Strykers B Team on Wednesday night 7-1 at the Guam Football
Association National Training Center in a GFA Budweiser Premier League match.
The Tritons jumped out to an early lead and put the game away in the first half by
scoring 5 first half goals. The UOG squad allowed 1 second half goal when the majority
of the team thought the BOG player was offside and stopped playing, but the call was
not made and the Strykers continued on and got a goal. But UOG scored twice themselves
in the 2nd half to make the final score 7-1.
UOG was led by Kyle Legozzie who scored 3 goals and Noah Duenas with 2 goals. Dylan
Naputi and Jaque Diambra-Odi added one goal each.
UOG is now 4-0 in the Premier League and take on the Islanders FC on Saturday, November
18th in the next UOG match at 7:00 p.m. The Islanders are undefeated as well and lead
the Premier League in scoring so far in the early season.
