The University of Guam Men's Basketball Team defeated the MVPs in the Triton Men's Basketball League on Sunday afternoon at the UOG Calvo Field House 123-111 in the UOG frist Hall of Fame Game.

UOG jumped out to a 12-0 lead in the first few minutes and led 40-23 at the end of the first quarter and never trailed in the game.

It was 70-51 at half-time, 99-83 at the end of 3 periods and while the MVPs cut it below 10 points several times in the late going, they never could really challenge the Tritons for the lead. The MVPs had only 4 players left on the court in the final minute of the game, and the Tritons won match-up, 123-111.

Blake Jenkins scored 34 points and 23 rebounds in the game to lead UOG on the day.  Geno Anderson added 19 points for the Tritons and Anthony Brown scored 18 points with 10 rebounded.  JP Cruz scoed 39 for the MVPs.

UOG is now 4-0 in the league and face the Toothfaries next Sunday. The MVPs fall to 1-2 on the season.
