The University of Guam Recreation Department Men's Volleyball Club was defeated on Wednesday night in the UOG Calvo Field House by Haggen (Powered By Ambrose) Volleyball Club 3-0 to finish the Trident Men's Volleyball League 1-5 for the season. Set scores were 25-16, 25-17, 25-20. In the other Wednesday night match, the Hammers beat Guam Community College 3-1 (25-22, 25-1524-26, 25-23)

The Tridents MVC will face Haggen again on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. in the TMVL Championship Tournament semi-finals in the UOG Calvo Field House as the Tridents are the #4 Seed while Haggen is the undefeated #1 Seed with a 6-0 record and 18-0 set record for the season.

In the other semi-final, the #2 Hammers Volleyball Club plays #3 Guam Community College at 10:30am. The Hammers are 3-3 on the season while GCC is 2-4.

The winners of the semi-finals meet at 12:30 p.m. in the championship match. Admission is free for the event.
