The University of Guam Women's Volleyball Team will have open tryouts for all full-time UOG female students on August 16-17 in the UOG Calvo Field House from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  

New UOG Coach Mike Rabago will be looking for a squad of 15-18 players for the 2017-18 academic year, which will include competition in the Guam Women's College Volleyball League, the Guam Federation League, and several tournaments hosted by UOG and other volleyball groups on the island. Play in the Guam Women's College Volleyball League will begin on September 7.

UOG students must be full-time, have at least 2.00 GPA at UOG or a 2.50 GPA from high school if a first-time freshmen. Students will need a physical after the tryouts to continue to practice and play in the leagues/tournaments.

The University will also have a Club Volleyball Team for students who are not full-time or can not commit the time and effort as a varsity player is expected to do. Contact the Recreation Department ((671) 735-2863) if you are interested in club volleyball.
