UOG Women's Volleyball Defeats Royals Volleyball Club 3-1
The University of Guam Women's Volleyball Team won their Guam Women's College Volleyball League match against the Royals Volleyball
Club 3-1 on Saturday morning at the UOG Calvo Field House.
Set scores were UOG 28-26, 25-18, 24-26, 25-16.
UOG was down 24-17 in the first set, when Brittany Quinata served 7 straight points
for the Lady Tritons to even the score at 24-24 and UOG went on to the win the first
set 28-26.
UOG went on to a solid win in the 2nd set, 25-18 and were leading the 3rd set 24-10
when Brianne Leon Guerrero for the Royals served an amazing 16 points in a row as
UOG struggled returning the serves with good passes.
UOG recovered for the 3rd set to win the 4th set, 25-16.
UOG now leads the Guam Women's College Volleyball League with a 3-0 record. The Royals
Volleyball Club is in 2nd place with a 2-1 record. UOG and the Royals meet again on
Monday night at 8:00 p.m.
