UOG Women's Volleyball Defeats Royals Volleyball Club 3-0
The University of Guam Women's Volleyball Team defeated the Royals Volleyball Club 3-0 on Monday night at the UOG Calvo Field House
in the Guam Women's College Volleyball League.
Match scores were UOG 26-24, 25-12 and 25-16.
The Tritons got out to a first set lead of 9-1 but the Royals came back and made it
close but the Tritons were able to pull it out 26-24. UOG was then dominate for the
rest of the match, winning the 2nd and 3rd sets easily, 25-12, 25-16.
In the opening match of the night, Guam Community College defeated Pacific Islands
University 3-0 (25-23, 26-24, 25-15).
UOG is now 4-0 in the league while RVC falls to 2-2. GCC improves to 2-2 on the season
and PIU falls to 0-4. The GWCVL plays again on Monday, October 2. UOG faces GCC at
6:00 p.m. while RVC and Pacific Islands play at 8:00 p.m. The GWCVL Championship is
on Saturday, October 7.
