UOG Women's Volleyball Defeat Pacific Islands University 3-0
The Lady Triton Volleyball Team from the University of Guam defeated Pacific Islands University on Wednesday night
at the UOG Calvo Field House 3-0 for their 2nd win in the Guam Women's College Volleyball
League.
The Tritons were dominating in the match, winning the contest 25-8, 25-16, 25-15 and
not allowing the "Tide" any real momentum in the match. UOG's strong serving game
kept the Tide off balance and often unable to return the ball.
UOG is now 2-0 in the league and play the Royals Volleyball Club on Saturday morning
at 10:00 a.m. in their next match in the league. Both teams are 2-0 on the season.
The Royals Volleyball Club won the 2nd match of the night with a 3-2 win over Guam
Community College team. RVC won 25-11, 22-25, 22-25, 25-16, 15-6. The Royals used
a powerful serving game to win the 4th and 5th sets.
