Visiting Fulbright Scholar from Columbia University in New York Dr. Tawfiq al-Froukh gave a presentation on next generation sequencing to identify mutations of genetically inherited diseases to a full house of UOG Marine Lab students and faculty on April 25. The presentation was hosted by the UOG EPSCoR team.

Dr. al-Froukh will also give a presentation at 3 p.m. tomorrow on "Civilizations in the world and their revival" and about the place of Jordan in the history of the Middle East in the CLASS Professional Development Room. Dr. Froukh is from Jordan, and is sponsored by the Outside Lecturing Fund of the Fulbright program, Council for International Exchange of Scholars.
