UOG Theater Presents “What We Love, What We Hate, What We Live: A FestPac One Act Play Festival”
The University of Guam Theater proudly presents its spring 2016 production “What We Love, What We Hate, What We Live: A FestPac One Act Play Festival” at the UOG Fine Arts Theater April 21-23 and April 28-30 at 7 p.m.
The performance features three original plays by local playwrights Peter Onedera,
Marilyn Webber, and AD Roberto. These original plays will also be featured again in
May for the FestPac.
Liheng Abusu by Peter Onedera is the story of a woman finding the courage to stand up to her abusive
husband through the support of an abuse shelter. Tinaktak, Wine, and Tights by Marilyn Webber is a humorous look into the lives of a modern day Guamanian couple
as they attempt to reconcile a misunderstood secret fetish. Nobena Para San Jude by AD Roberto explores the struggles of a young Chamorro man enduring life's challenges
despite experiences of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse.
Tickets are available at the box office on show nights. Ticket prices for youth/seniors
is $7.50 and general admission is $10. Admission for UOG and GCC students is free
with a current student ID or class schedule.
