UOG Summer Travel Trip to Southeast Asia Info Session
There will be an information meeting about the University of Guam’s summer travel
trip to Southeast Asia for students as well as Guam community members at 3:30 p.m.
Thursday, February 18 in the Humanities and Social Science building's Conference Room
(1st floor).
Participants can join this trip either for academic credit (3 credits—undergraduate
or graduate) or as a noncredit community participant. Either way, this is an extraordinary
exploration of several fascinating Asian countries. Besides having an expert in Asian
Culture, Philosophy, and Religion (UOG professor) leading the trip, efforts have been
made to get the best national and local guides for the group while on the trip.
Participants on the trip will departure on June 4th (Saturday) and return on June 19th (Sunday) just over two weeks of travel. Additional travel to Vietnam, Singapore,
and Thailand will also be a possibility for those who have a little more time to stay
on trip and want to go to more places in SE Asia.
