UOG ROTC Commissions Seven New Officers into the United States Army

UOG ROTC Fall 2013

Six newly commissioned officers from the University of Guam Triton Warrior Battalion Senior Army Reserve Officers Training Corp
(ROTC) take their Oath of Office during the UOG ROTC 33rd Fall Commissioning Ceremony on December 21, 2013 at the
U.S. Army Reserve Center Barrigada, Guam.


 
The University of Guam Triton Warrior Battalion Senior Army Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) will conduct its Fall 2013 Commissioning Ceremony on December 21, 2013, at the U.S. Army Reserves Center in Barrigada to recognize six newly commissioned Second Lieutenants of the United States Army.  A seventh officer, 2LT Brandon Tudela Demapan was commissioned by UOG ROTC on December 14, 2013, at the Multipurpose Center Susupe, Saipan. The commissioned officers will be graduating from the University of Guam with their respective bachelor’s degrees.

“This is a testament of their hard work and dedication to the University, the islands of Saipan and Guam, and to the Triton Warrior Battalion ROTC Program,” said LTC Jay Blakley, Professor of Military Science.

Each newly commissioned officer has been assessed and will pursue their military career as a 2LT in the United States Army.
