UOG Names Enriquez Senior Vice President
The University of Guam announces the hiring of Dr. Anita Borja Enriquez as its Senior
Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs. She joined the University in 1995
and has served as the Dean of the School of Business and Public Administration and
most recently as Interim Senior Vice President since August 2013.

"For over a decade she has served as a strong voice for our University, an advocate for student learning and academic excellence and an engaged partner to our island community. Her leadership as Dean of the School of Business and Public Administration has been exemplary and an example of how to serve both the community and the University. We look forward to what her leadership will bring to our great University."

As Senior Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Anita Borja Enriquez will oversee the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, the College of Natural and Applied Sciences, the School of Health, the School of Education, the School of Business and Public Administration, Graduate Studies, Research and Sponsored Programs, Enrollment Management and Student Services, and the RFK Library. Dr. Enriquez also serves as the University's liaison to the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
Dr. Enriquez Bio
A former corporate planning and development manager, and management consultant, Dr. Enriquez established her first business at the age of 19. She secured over $1 million in technical assistance grants from the U.S. Dept. of Commerce Economic Development Administration to establish the UOG Pacific Center for Economic Initiatives, the Defense Logistics Agency to establish the Guam Procurement Technical Assistance Center, the U.S. Small Business Administration to establish the new Guam Veterans Business Outreach Center, and the Department of the Interior Office of Insular Affairs to launch the "Buy Local Guam" marketing educational campaign. A two-time UOG Administrator of the Year award winner, she currently serves on various boards, including the Guam Women's Chamber of Commerce, Guampedia Foundation Board, Rotary Club of Tumon Bay Board of Directors, and the Pacific Islands Small Business Development Network Advisory Board.
