UOG Men's Soccer Wins 4-0 Vs. BOG Strykers
The University of Guam Men's Soccer Team earned their second straight win in the Guam Football Association Men's League (DII) on Friday night at the GFA National Training Center with a 4-0 victory over the Bank of Guam Strykers.
UOG scored early to take the lead and then followed it up with two more goals in the first half to lead at half-time 3-0. The Tritons had several chances in the 2nd half to score but could not finish until Jack Diambra put home a penalty kick for the final UOG score of the night. Diambra led the way for UOG, scoring three times with Dylan Naputi adding the other goal.
The Tritons pushed their record to 7-4-0 for the season as they battle to stay at the top of the GFA standings. The Strykers fell to 1-9 on the year as they lost for the 2nd time to the Tritons this season (dropped a 7-1 match to UOG in November).
UOG returns to the pitch next Friday night at the GFA Soccer Complex against the Shinko EuroCar team at 7:00 p.m. The Tritons beat EuroCar 1-0 back in October for their 2nd win of the season at that point.
