Student Reenvisions KUOG Station as Podcast

The University of Guam student radio station KUOG was recently relaunched as a weekly podcast as part of the University’s Charter Day celebration. Featuring a blend of talk radio and music, KUOG aims to provide quality entertainment and campus news to UOG students.

KUOG is a student organization and radio station that had been dormant for a few years when UOG Communication major Marlon Molinos reenvisioned the station as an online podcast. He hopes to give students a chance to experience hands-on, real world radio production.

"All we need is a computer," Molinos explains. "We can teach students how to produce their very own radio show," he explains. "In addition to hosting and radio ad production, students could get experience as account executives for various groups on campus looking to promote their events on KUOG."

For more information, contact KUOG at marlonmolinos@gmail.com.
