In a high-energy battle royale between the ROTC Savages and the Bad News Barracudas, the Savages took the ultimate victory Monday night in Dodge Ball for the 5th Annual President’s Cup Competition.

With support pouring in from the crowd for both sides, the intensity was high when the two teams reached the final round.

“They were making so many calls on us, and it started getting intense,” said Savages Co-Captain Elijah Solang.

Living up to their team name, the Savages recuperated and played fiercely, knocking out the Barracudas.

Excitement was in the air at the end with the Savages gave a shout-out to the Barracudas for a worthy challenge following with a final cheer for themselves. The captains of the Savages expressed overwhelming joy in their team’s win.

“I feel a lot better than what I am showing,” Solang said. “I just want to explode and scream! I might as well do it right now!”

Up next in the President’s Cup is Volleyball starting at 5:30 p.m. on February 20 and 22 at the Calvo Field House.
