Lady Tritons Stay Undefeated With 2-1 Victory Over BOG Strykers

The University of Guam Women's Soccer Team remained undefeated on Sunday night as
they defeated the Bank of Guam Strykers 2-1 in a GFA Women's 7 On 7 league game at
the Guam Football Association Soccer Complex.
The UOG Squad dominated the match, controlling the ball the majority of match but
ran into an excellent Stryker goalkeeper who saved several shots in the game.
Shaeina Torres broke through for UOG about halfway through the first half and the
Tritons lead 1-0 at halftime. The Strykers scored on one of their few shots about
halfway through the 2nd half to tie at the score 1-1 but Torres then struck again,
about 4 minutes later to give UOG a 2-1 lead and one that they would keep for the
rest of the match as the Lady Tritons won 2-1.
UOG is now 4-0 on the season and play again on Sunday, November 20 at 5:00pm against
the Crowns Defenders at the GFA Soccer Complex.
