Isla Center for the Arts Hosts Festival of the Pacific Arts 2016 Visual Arts: Pottery, Sculpture, and Other Media

The Isla Center for the Arts at the University of Guam is proud to announce the opening of the exhibition Festival of the Pacific Arts 2016 Visual Arts Exhibit: Pottery, Sculpture, and Other Media featuring Maori ceramic artists from Nga Kai Hanga Uku, New Zealand, along with works from Guam, Tonga, New Caledonia, American Samoa,Solomon Islands, Palau, and Australia.

The Isla Center for the Arts and members of the Pottery, Sculpture, and Architecture FestPac subcommittee have collaborated to create an outdoor ceramic studio and for potters, ceramic artists, and sculptors to meet the visiting delegates. Formal ceramic workshops and outdoor firing sessions will place every day during the second week, May 30 through June 3.
