"Blood In Blood Out" Film Screening
Presented by the Guam Humanities Council, there will be a special screening and discussion
of the film Blood In Blood Out co-written and produced by Jimmy Santiago Baca—recognized as one of America's greatest
living poets—at 6 p.m. on Oct. 13 at the UOG Fine Arts Theatre.

A community screening of the A Place to Stand—a film based on Baca's transformation from a functionally illiterate convict to an
award-winning poet, novelist, and screenwriter—will also take place at the Southern
High School auditorium at 6:30 p.m. on n Oct. 15 for $15 per adult and $8 for students.
A Gala Dinner and premier of the film will also take place at 6 p.m. on Oct. 17 at
the Westin Resort Guam. Tickets cost $150 per person.
