The University of Guam Women's Volleyball Team won two matches on Thursday night at Tiyan High School Gym in the Guam Federation Spring League.

UOG defeated Getpan 2-0 by the scores of 25-19, 25-16 in a match that was never close even through the Tritons had not played in over a month.

The 2nd match was against Au Mana, the team that UOG Coach Tatianna Sablan plays for and did on this night. The Tritons had a 3 point lead late in the 1st set, but Au Mana came back and with the score 19-18 Tritons ahead, the Au Mana scored 7 straight points to win the 1st set 25-19. UOG battled back in the 2nd set and won 25-23 in a set that UOG had a large lead again but got stuck on 24 points and let Au Mana back in the match. The Tritons did play well in the 3rd set as they were up 8-4 when the teams switched sides and they held their lead and won 15-11 to give UOG a 2-1 win.

The Tritons are now 7-6 on the season and finish league play on Saturday morning against the Haggen Neni's club at 10:40am in Tiyan High School Gym. There are league playoffs but it not currently clear when they will take place.
