UOG Men’s Soccer Defeats Crushers FC 5-3 In Landshark Beach League Match
The University of Guam Men’s Soccer Team defeated the Crushers FC 5-3 in a Guam Football Association Landshark Beach Soccer
League match on Wednesday night at the GFA National Training Center Beach Field.
The Tritons got off to a fast start as Jacques Diambra scored two early goals, and
Dominic Gadad was able to deflect a loose ball into the goad for 3-0 UOG lead early
in the first period. The Crushers came back and scored to make it 3-2 at the end of
the first period.
In the 2nd period, Diambra scored another goal to make 4-2 at the end of 2nd 15 minutes.
In the 3rd and final period, the Crushers came back again to score a goal to make
it 4-3, but Ben Weigand scored the final goal for the Tritons to put the Crushers
away 5-3 to end the match.
UOG is now 1-2 in the league and has one more “Power Outage” make-up game to play
before league playoffs start. Game date and time still to be determined.
