Isla Center for the Arts presents Elements: a UOG Student Exhibition
The Isla Center for the Arts is proud to announce the opening of the University of Guam Student Exhibition that
includes over 100 works of art created by selected University of Guam undergraduate
students.
The exhibition will feature graduating Fine Arts/Art majors Mariah Edquilane, Benedict
Mutuc, Georgiana Quintanilla, Lucille Ronquillo, Katlyn Sutherland, Kaysha Tyquiengco,
and Josephine Viera. This exhibit is one of the final steps required for the Fine
Arts/Art degree.
In addition to the graduating Fine Arts Seniors as featured artists, more than 25
UOG undergraduate students are also featured in this display. Fine Arts faculty selected
works of art produced by students currently enrolled in the various studio classes
for inclusion in the exhibition.
The opening reception for this exhibit will be on Thursday, May 4th from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Isla center for the Arts, located in house #15, Dean’s Circle on the University of Guam campus in Mangilao.
Admission is free. This project is supported in part by a grant from the National
Endowment for the Arts, Guam Council on the Arts and Humanities Agency, Government
of Guam, Office of the Governor, and the University of Guam.
The Isla Center for the Arts at the University of Guam is open to the public free
of charge. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; Saturdays 10:00 a.m.-2:00
p.m.; closed on Sundays and holidays.
