University of Guam School of Health (SNHS) Instructor Veronica Alave was recently honored with the 2017 Nurse of the Year Award by the Guam Nurses Association. A nurse for 28 years, Alave has made significant contributions in the areas of nursing education as well as nursing practice. Alave also serves as the SNHS Learning Resource Center Coordinator.
