Charter Day 2024
Join the University of Guam at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024, for the opening ceremony of our 56th Charter Day!
This year marks the 56th Year of our Charter Day celebration, marking the anniversary of the University’s founding in 1952 and the signing of the charter that renamed the Territorial College of Guam to the University of Guam in 1968.
Under the theme, Tulos Mo’na, propelling the university forward in unison, this year's celebration looks to the future of the University's role in academics, research, and service.
Charter Day is the largest community event held on the UOG campus every year. Thousands of people are expected to attend and enjoy food, games, demonstrations, and activities. The celebration will include live music and entertainment, cultural performances and displays showcasing the heritage of the different student organizations, food trucks, vendors, campus tours, and more!
Elementary, middle, and high school students are welcome! For field trips and campus tours, call 671-735-2231 or email americorpsuog@triton.uog.edu.
