Men's Basketball Signs Three More Players to Letters of Intent


The University of Guam Triton Men's Basketball program has signed three more players to letters of intent to play for the 2017-18 academic year.

Anthony and Aaron Castro played high school basketball at Simon Sanchez High School and both made the All-Island Team as Honorable Mention in 2016-17, with Aaron making the squad as a guard and Anthony as a forward.

Anthony Brown, Jr. played basketball in 2016-17 at the University of the Southwest, in Hobbs, NM and was named Honorable Mention All-Conference for the Red River Conference (NAIA). Anthony is a 6’5” forward originally from Seattle, WA.

He started 19 of 28 games in 2016-17 for Southwest and averaged 7.5 points per game and led the team in 3 point shooting hitting 47% of his shots (41 of 87 attempted) and was 2nd on the team with 12 blocks on the season and 3rd in rebounds with 112.

UOG Tritons won the Guam Men's College Basketball League Championship in 2017 with a 8-0 record and competed in Guam Basketball Association Season 2 and 3 during the year and also played in the March Madness Tournament.
